CHANNELL Craig - photoProgramme Director, Initial Teacher Training (ITT)

Craig is one of TKAT’s two Directors of Initial Teacher Training who, working together, are responsible for establishing TKAT’s new School Centered Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) programme that commences in September 2012.

Prior to joining TKAT, Craig was Vice Principal at a community school in East Sussex and from there was seconded to lead vocational training provision for a partnership of schools at their dedicated skills centre. Prior to moving to East Sussex Craig was a Deputy Head teacher in Bromley where he was subsequently seconded to establish and lead one of the first SCITT schemes.

As a TKAT Director of ITT, Craig hopes to draw upon his previous experience of developing successful partnerships of schools to deliver high quality initial teacher training.
