Donna Westwood

Donna qualified as a teacher of Modern Languages in 1992, and has worked in three secondary schools as a Head of Department, Head of Year, Advanced Skills Teacher and since 2002 as a Deputy Head Teacher at Kemnal Technology College.

In January 2012 she was seconded to work as Director of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for The Kemnal Academies' Trust (TKAT).

Donna has been involved in school-to-school support and consultancy for all aspects of CPD, Quality Assurance, Leadership Development, Teaching and Learning and Modern Foreign Languages in TKAT, and its predecessor, The Kemnal Trust, for six years. She has presented at regional and national Training and Development Agency and National College conferences to help inform their work on CPD across the country, and is currently leading a national research and development project within TKAT for the National College.

Donna is an accredited facilitator for the Middle Leadership Development Programme, and the Improving and Outstanding Teacher Programmes, and an accredited verifier for the Pan London CPD Quality Mark.
