Overview of workshop:
The TKAT Women in Leadership 2021 conference will examine how female leaders, at any grade, can enhance their skills to become the leader they aspire to be.
We will hear from inspirational women of all grades and levels, within and outside the Education System. We’ll discuss together how we can manage the challenges of modern leadership and recognise and reward female leadership.
Diana Osagie: With a proven track record of developing leaders via bespoke training programs, Diana founded The Academy of Women’s Leadership; specialising in supporting women to grow the leadership cultures of their organisations and to flourish as leaders established in confidence, Diana has established capability in mentoring and supporting leaders facing challenging circumstances and change.
Dame Alison Peacock: Prior to becoming CEO of the Chartered College of Teaching, Professor Dame Alison Peacock was Executive Headteacher of The Wroxham School in Hertfordshire. Her career to date has spanned primary, secondary, and advisory roles. In 2018, she became an Honorary Fellow of Queen's College, Cambridge, one of the first ever female fellows admitted. She is also a visiting professor of both the University of Hertfordshire and Glyndwr University.
Vivienne Porritt: Vivienne Porritt is one of the co-founders and national leaders of #WomenEd and the co-editor of 10% Braver: Inspiring Women to Lead Education. She is also Vice President of the Chartered College of Teaching and a former Headteacher and Director for School Partnerships for UCL Institute of Education.

Car-parking is available for visitors to the Atkins Centre and Centre Staff alike at the front of the school, please enter by the gates from Sevenoaks Way (opposite Cornwall Drive). Please do not park in unmarked spaces, or in marked visitors’ spaces (unless previously booked). Parking is provided on a first come, first served, basis. If there are no spaces available there is alternative parking for Atkins Centre visitors on the roads surrounding the College. Please use the pedestrian access at the front of the College on Sevenoaks Way, if necessary.
Visitors to the Atkins Centre are advised that under no circumstances are they to seek to park/gain access via the rear of the College, in order to ensure the College maintains its safeguarding responsibilities.
