Target Audience:

ECT mentors/Induction tutors who did not attend both half day training sessions in June/July 2021. This training is compulsory for all ECT mentors.

Overview of workshop:

Training for ECT mentors with an ECT starting from September 2021.

You will get a full overview of the programme and have essential training needed to carry out the new incremental coaching element of ECT training. We will look at the key changes to ECT induction and why this came about and you will explore how best to fulfil this crucial mentoring role.

Additional Information:

Lunch: Due to the ongoing changes regarding Covid regulations and restrictions we will not be offering a buffet lunch at this event. Please ensure you bring your own lunch with you. 

Parking: Car-parking is available for visitors to the Atkins Centre and Centre Staff alike at the front of the school, please enter by the gates from Sevenoaks Way (opposite Cornwall Drive). Please do not park in unmarked spaces, or in marked visitors’ spaces (unless previously booked). Parking is provided on a first come, first served, basis. If there are no spaces available there is alternative parking for Atkins Centre visitors on the roads surrounding the College. Please use the pedestrian access at the front of the College on Sevenoaks Way, if necessary.

Visitors to the Atkins Centre are advised that under no circumstances are they to seek to park/gain access via the rear of the College, in order to ensure the College maintains its safeguarding responsibilities.
