Congratulations are due to the pupils of TKAT's Cleeve Meadow School, who have won a prize in an national competition for creativity and achievement recently. 

The Renaissance Awards 2022 celebrates best practices and achievements in schools across the country with Renaissance reading solutions.

Renaissance was hugely impressed with the standard of entries and announced the winners on the 14th of December 2022. The awards honoured ingenuity in schools and TKAT's Cleeve Meadow School won a prize in the creativity and achievement category.

Students and staff worked tirelessly throughout the year to improve reading across the curriculum. The results had been impressive and on average, across the school, reading ages increased by 17 months. A great achievement for a specialist provision.

Juliet Morris, Head of School, said:

"Our whole school has made great strides this year in supporting our young people with their reading and I couldn’t be more proud of the students and staff alike."

Laburnum House kindly sponsored the event and the prize of new books for the school. The trophy will be displayed proudly in the school library.
