Over 60 TKAT reading leads and headteachers join forces at our Primary Reading Conference 2022
Posted on: 3rd Feb 2022In January, TKAT held its primary reading conference that brought together over 60 reading leads and headteachers from across our schools.
The focus was on developing the skills and love of reading that will benefit children throughout their education and their lives.
The conference included sessions on poetry, the reading continuum, and knowledge organisers. And everyone was very pleased to welcome back the children’s author Pie Corbett as the guest speaker.
Pearson very kindly supported the event, and they provided both virtual and physical goody bags for all the delegates.
Neil Small, TKAT Senior Director for Primary Schools, said it was “a fantastic and inspirational day”.
