The Kemnal Academies Trust (TKAT) is a large, developing Multi Academy Trust with over 40 Primary and Secondary schools across the South and South East of England. We believe passionately that children of all backgrounds deserve the best education; our IT provision is key to enabling our Teachers and Support staff to achieve this.
We are currently working to standardise our approach to IT across our schools. All our academies are moving or have moved to use the full suite of Google tools. We need a Head of IT to develop a long term strategy that enables our academies to move from individual institutions to utilising the benefits of a large family group of schools.
We are looking to appoint a dynamic and solutions focused individual with an ability to lead and manage a multi-site team. We want someone who can bring along staff on multiple sites and head a strategic focus on upskilling, training and developing through developing respect with heads, business managers and IT technicians. You must have experience in leading and managing a team. You must be able to show and demonstrate ability to communicate a strategic plan across a large number of people. You should be able to talk with authority about IT and should have a good knowledge of Google.
