Virgin Atlantic generously donate iPads to TKAT's Thomas Bennett Community College

Posted on 21st January 2021

Fifteen lucky pupils at TKAT's Thomas Bennett Community College in Crawley were given a surprise this week, thanks to the Virgin Atlantic Technology, People and PR teams.

Learning from home was made easier for the pupils, who were delighted to be offered Ipads to help them with their studies.

As a partner school in the 'Passport To Change' programme, Thomas Bennett Community College received the devices, which had been wiped, updated, cleaned and delivered completely free of charge.

Headteacher Stuart Smith expressed his grattitude and said that the kind donation will have a positive impact on the learning experience of the pupils:

"It’s more important than ever that we support each other where we can. It was a kind gesture at a time when all of us are feeling the pressure. Sharing some positive intent in this way helps us all and these devices will certainly help our pupils get through challenging times more easily. Thank you Virgin Atlantic!
