Secondary Maths Curriculum Leads

 

Overview:

TKAT Maths Secondary Maths Conference. This is also the first session for those who are signing up for the Maths Leadership Programme. When you complete the booking form you will be asked if you wish to attend the whole programme (details below) or just the conference. Dates for sessions 2-6 will be provided nearer the time.

Maths Leadership Programme:

  1. Leadership skills and strategic planning summer maths conference (face-to-face)
  2. Curriculum development and Implementation brackets (online)
  3. Data monitoring tracking and making informed decisions (face-to-face)
  4. Raising the profile of maths (pupil engagement) and impact (online)
  5. Teambuilding and CPD (Individual and whole team) (face-to-face)
  6. Reflection (online)

 

Each session will conclude with a focus/task to action before the next meet. The next session will start the reflection from this focus/task.

Venue Information:

PARKING:

Car-parking is available for visitors to the Atkins Centre and Centre Staff alike at the front of the school, please enter by the gates from Sevenoaks Way (opposite Cornwall Drive). Please do not park in unmarked spaces, or in marked visitors’ spaces (unless previously booked). Parking is provided on a first come, first served, basis. If there are no spaces available there is alternative parking for Atkins Centre visitors on the roads surrounding the College. Please use the pedestrian access at the front of the College on Sevenoaks Way, if necessary.

Visitors to the Atkins Centre are advised that under no circumstances are they to seek to park/gain access via the rear of the College, to ensure the College maintains its safeguarding responsibilities.

 

DRESS CODE:

Just a reminder that all attendees are expected to be dressed in a professional and business-like manner unless otherwise stated in the event details. Please also wear your school ID badge at all times when on the premises.
