Target Audience:

Designated Safeguarding Leads that implement the policy and lead whole school safeguarding training in September

 

Overview of workshop:

  • Share the new KCSIE 2024 changes
  • Share the updated 2024-2025 safeguarding policy (and give you time to update your version)
  • Share the whole school training for September, including further information for DSL level
  • Share next year’s safeguarding action plan areas and areas of Trust focus
  • Ensure that all actions have been completed by your school to ensure best proactive for safeguarding and offer support as required
  • Offer regional and Trust networking opportunities

 

Additional Info:

  • Please discuss key safeguarding focus areas with your DSL team and SLT to ensure you have the information to update your policy.
  • DSLs confident with new information in whole school training for September
  • Networking opportunities

 

Atkins Centre Visitor Information:

PARKING:

Car-parking is available for visitors to the Atkins Centre and Centre Staff alike at the front of the school, please enter by the gates from Sevenoaks Way (opposite Cornwall Drive). Please do not park in unmarked spaces, or in marked visitors’ spaces (unless previously booked). Parking is provided on a first come, first served, basis. If there are no spaces available there is alternative parking for Atkins Centre visitors on the roads surrounding the College. Please use the pedestrian access at the front of the College on Sevenoaks Way, if necessary.

Visitors to the Atkins Centre are advised that under no circumstances are they to seek to park/gain access via the rear of the College, to ensure the College maintains its safeguarding responsibilities.

DRESS CODE:

Just a reminder that all attendees are expected to be dressed in a professional and business-like manner unless otherwise stated in the event details. Please also wear your school ID badge at all times when on the premises.
