Finance

The TKAT Finance team offers support to all our academies through collaborative
and effective financial management, ensuring that financial resources are
secure and in place to meet approved budgets. We provide a range of guidance handbooks and further support resources. Our aim is to ensure that our academies can invest as much as possible in the education of children and young people in the TKAT family of schools.

On behalf of our academies and the trust, we also oversee all financial statutory reporting. This includes the submission of consolidated data returns directly to external agencies throughout the year. We provide assurance directly to TKAT's Senior Leadership Team and Trustees on the wider financial position of the Trust to inform strategic decision making.

We work closely with our appointed Internal Auditors to regularly identify
potential areas of risk within our financial controls and
systems, and continually strive to ensure that all risks are minimised and
mitigated against where possible and in a timely manner.
