St John’s College, Oxford hosts a TKAT Oxford University Day
Posted on: 25th Apr 2024Earlier this week, St John’s College, Oxford hosted a TKAT Oxford University Day.
Year 10 students from The Academy. Selsey and their teachers travelled to St John’s and were fantastic ambassadors for themselves, their schools and our #oneTKATfamily.
Before lunch in the college hall, our students had an immersive introduction to Oxford life and a college tour. They also had a Q&A session with current undergraduates, then a formal lecture from College Master, Dr Nicholas Carter, who spoke about the power of lichens!
During the afternoon, there was a session on the application process and academic taster sessions.
The students had a great experience and went home inspired to be future undergraduates at Oxford.
