Have your say! The consultation on proposals for Cleeve Meadow SEN Free School is now open

Posted on 12th November 2018

The Kemnal Academies Trust (TKAT) is pleased to announce the launch of the public consultation for our proposed new SEN free school, Cleeve Meadow School.  The consultation period is from Monday 12th November 2018 to Sunday 16th December 2018

As part of the process of opening a Free School, the Department for Education requires a consultation under Section 10 of the Academies Act 2010.  This enables residents, Headteachers, staff and governors from local schools, parents, elected members, community groups and any other interested parties to share their views.

This is an important step in our journey to opening in September 2019. We would like to hear from the community in the coming weeks to help inform the Secretary of State for Education’s decision on whether to enter into a Funding Agreement with The Kemnal Academies Trust.

We want the consultation to be inclusive, and we will be listening to the views of young people with special educational needs to ensure the school is the best it can be and meets the needs of the community it is designed for.
