TKAT Academy Heybridge Primary School in Essex is proud to share with the community their excellent Year 6 SATs results, which are 20% higher than the national average.

The children achieved an impressive 85% combined in Reading, Writing and Maths. These results are made more impressive by the fact the progress the children made in Reading is in the top 5% of the country.

At Heybridge, the school places importance on teaching positivity, trying hard and being resilient in addition to the national curriculum. These values reflect how the school works together as whole community. Heybridge Primary has been judged by Ofsted as a ‘Good’ school since June 2016 but the team are not resting on their laurels.  It’s still full-steam ahead in the drive for ‘Outstanding’ school status.

Headteacher Simon Waltham said: “I am delighted with these results, our collective hard work has paid off. We will continue to develop our winning formula, to ensure that we understand what has a positive impact on our children. We are always looking to find new ways to make learning enjoyable so that every one of our pupils can shine. We know that by providing a nurturing environment, we can help all our children become confident learners and reach their potential”

Heybridge Primary School will be hosting an Open Morning on Saturday 25th May 2019 for the community and parents of prospective new pupils to see for themselves how the school achieves such positive results.
