Overview of workshop:

We warmly invite primary staff to our TKAT Primary Wellbeing Conference in partnership with Queen Mary University London. There will be a range of external speakers including:

  • Adrian Bethune, founder of Teachappy and author of the award-winning Wellbeing In The Primary Classroom – A Practical Guide To Teaching Happiness.
  • Alexandra Turner on the latest evidence from The Good Childhood report.
  • Ben Levinson, Headteacher of Kensington Primary School, holder of Mentally Healthy Schools Gold award, member of Strategic Board of Well Schools Movement and creator of the K Curriculum.

We will also be hearing from schools within our trust on innovative work in the area of wellbeing such as mindfulness curriculum and pupil wellbeing ambassadors.

 

Objectives of workshop:

To learn about the latest evidence-based innovations in the field of wellbeing, to share wonderful practice from across the Trust and to network with like-minded colleagues.

 

Additional Information:

PARKING:

Car-parking is available for visitors to the Atkins Centre and Centre Staff alike at the front of the school, please enter by the gates from Sevenoaks Way (opposite Cornwall Drive). Please do not park in unmarked spaces, or in marked visitors’ spaces (unless previously booked). Parking is provided on a first come, first served, basis. If there are no spaces available there is alternative parking for Atkins Centre visitors on the roads surrounding the College. Please use the pedestrian access at the front of the College on Sevenoaks Way, if necessary.

Visitors to the Atkins Centre are advised that under no circumstances are they to seek to park/gain access via the rear of the College, to ensure the College maintains its safeguarding responsibilities.

DRESS CODE:

Just a reminder that all attendees are expected to be dressed in a professional and business-like manner unless otherwise stated in the event details.
