NPQs (National Professional Qualifications)
National Professional Qualifications (NPQs) are a national, voluntary suite of qualifications designed to support the professional development of teachers and leaders.
TKAT are delighted to announce that we will now be delivering NPQ's on behalf of LLSE
We offer the full suite of NPQs.
Applications are now open for NPQs starting Autumn 2026.

You will need your TRN to hand when you complete your full application. If you do not have a TRN the please click here to find relevant information.
The DfE registration process now uses GOV.UK One Login for identity verification and access to services. You WILL NEED to create an account following the instructions below.

The process is straightforward and usually takes only a few minutes. You will typically need:
- An email address you can access
- A password
- A mobile phone number for security verification
In some circumstances, you may also be asked to verify your identity using documents such as a passport or driving licence, depending on the service you later access through GOV.UK.

Additional NPQH Support Programme
In addition to the reformed suite of National Professional Qualifications, the DFE is introducing an additional support offer for new head teachers from September 2021. This is a targeted support package for teachers new to the role of headship.
You are eligible for this targeted support package if you meet all of the following:
- Are in your first 2 years of headship
- Have either completed the reformed NPQH before taking up your first headship post or are currently taking the reformed NPQH
- Have not withdrawn from or failed the same programme previously
- Are employed by an eligible school upon starting the training
