Our penultimate session! Self-care is about prioritising your own mental and physical health. When going through the physical, psychological and emotional changes that happen during perimenopause and menopause, self-care becomes even more important.  This session covers the 5Cs of self-care and remember it is not selfish to put yourself first.

In 2021, TKAT HR began working closely with Menohealth and created a unique programme of online workshops to help support colleagues through and beyond the menopause.

These online sessions, led by a Menohealth expert, are just 30 minutes long and open to all employees. You may be on the menopause journey yourself or supporting a partner/family member with their symptoms or you may well be years away from entering the menopausal stages however would like some information on what may be to come.  All TKAT employees are welcome to join whatever your story is!

Each session has been arranged to take place on a Thursday at 4pm, after schools close, so you can hopefully get home or find a safe space in school to engage.

Menohealth provides practical support including hints and tips on various topics as well as ideas on exercises and movement to help bodies get through what can be a challenging time.  Although handouts will be made available after each session, Sessions are not recorded. This is intentional in order to provide a safe space for attendees in order to ask questions, share experiences and to network with others if they choose to do so.

You DO NOT have to sign up to each session however the subjects are fantastic and you get direct access to a Menohealth expert so we would encourage you to do so. Topics include; supporting anxiety and mental health, Mythbusting around HRT, diet & weight gain and dealing with hot flushes.
