Train to teach with TKAT - now accepting applications for September 2023

The TKAT SCITT (School-Centred Initial Teacher Training) team are now accepting applications for September 2023.
TKAT SCITT offers a high-quality teacher training programme (primary 5-11 and secondary 11-16) leading to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE). We also offer part-time courses and Assessment-Only routes into teaching.
We work in collaboration with primary and secondary schools across South East London, Essex and South East England. Our programme enables trainees to work alongside Good and Outstanding teachers. Trainees also participate in weekly training sessions either online or at our regional training hubs.
Investment in excellent teaching and leadership is our top priority. Once qualified, TKAT offers an Early Career Teacher Programme and valuable mentoring opportunities; we support our trainees into leadership roles and beyond.

Requirements: a UK degree (min 2:2) or equivalent, plus GCSE English and Maths at minimum grade C/4 or equivalent. Primary trainees also require a GCSE Science at minimum grade C/4 or equivalent.
