Target Audience:

Attendance Officers and SLT Attendance Leads who want to be more aware of the legal framework around absence.

 

Overview:

An overview of the legal framework that underpins attendance and what we as school staff who lead on attendance need to know. This is a repeat of a previous session but has been updated to take account of the legislation changes from August 2024

 

Additional Information:

The session will be approximately 1 hour of direct input and 30 minutes to allow for questions.

You are invited to email the trainer in advance on rachel.george@tkat.org  so that support can be readied for common queries. If you have come across anomalies in your LA’s practice or simply want to ask more about a key aspect please drop this into an email up to Friday 4th July.  You are welcome to ask ad hoc questions in the session as well if time allows.
