Overview:

Mentor training on difficult conversations equips mentors with essential skills for navigating challenging interactions with their trainees. Key components of this workshop include:

• strategies for active listening
• providing constructive feedback using non-judgmental language
• maintaining professional boundaries
• recognising emotional responses
• preparing conversation outlines to ensure clear communication of concerns and agreed-upon next steps
• This training ultimately aims to resolve conflicts or developmental roadblocks productively while strengthening the mentoring relationship.

Additional Information:

This is an online training session. Your must use your own device (not shared with anyone else) with a working camera and microphone. This should be in a quiet area where you can speak and take part in breakout sessions.
