Aspire Day 2025: Inspiring futures at Greenwich University
On July 2nd, the third annual Aspire Day brought together nearly 500 students from our six TKAT Sixth Forms at the beautiful Greenwich University, who generously hosted the event for the third consecutive year.
The day was packed with inspiring workshops, interactive sessions, and invaluable networking opportunities, all designed to help students raise their aspirations and explore a world of possibilities.
Aspire Day 2025 welcomed a diverse array of industry professionals, including accomplished TKAT alumni and representatives from leading organisations such as the BBC, The Walt Disney Company, JP Morgan Chase & Co, and Southampton General Hospital. Through engaging talks and hands-on workshops, students gained first-hand insight into a variety of career pathways and received practical advice on how to achieve their goals.
The impact of the day was clear in the glowing feedback from students:
"I have learnt so much about how many different pathways there are for languages; this has really excited me and motivated me to do well in my subjects"
"The personal statement talk was really useful"
"It was good to hear from someone who had the same doubts as me in Year 12 but has gone on to do things similar to what I want to do"
"The PGL talk gave me good advice for careers in general, like 'be brave'
The day concluded with an inspiring keynote from Andrew Wright, who encouraged students to ‘Action their Potential’ by understanding their amazing brains and building the best version of themselves. One student summed up the impact:
"Andrew's talk was amazing - I can't wait to try out some of the theories!"
Aspire Day continues to be a highlight of the academic year, empowering students to dream big, take action, and shape their futures.
