Russell Hobby CBE to become a life peer

Rh profile picThe Prime Minister’s Office has announced today that our CEO Russell Hobby is to become a life peer.

Russell was previously CEO of Teach First and General Secretary of the National Association of Headteachers.

Russell said, “I am delighted and honoured by this appointment. So many colleagues have supported me on the journey to get here: thank you to everyone. I will continue in my role at TKAT: it is a trust with huge potential and impressive values. I look forward to making the case for our fantastic education system, the brilliant people who work in it, and the young people who need us to be at our best.”
