Neil Small

Neil joined The Kemnal Academies Trust in 2015, following headships in two primary schools. 

Originally graduating in law, he chose a career in education, teaching and leading in schools across Brighton and Eastbourne before being seconded by the local authority to support school improvement work in Hastings.

Now Executive Leader for Primary Education, Neil has a strong commitment to inclusion, opportunity and community impact. He also works as an Ofsted inspector and is heavily involved in his children's local all-through school where he is Chair of Governors.
