The Kemnal Academies Trust is setting up a charitable foundation

The Kemnal Academies Trust (TKAT) is setting up a charitable foundation, with the aim to have it up and running from September 2026.

The objectives of the Foundation will be to ensure children and young people can access high-quality education and to create joined-up partnerships and systems of care, learning, and opportunity that wrap around children, young people and families in the communities we serve. That means helping any families who need support in a local community where there is a TKAT academy, not just TKAT pupils.

TKAT 's CEO Russell Hobby said:

"These are exciting times for The Kemnal Academies Trust. We want our communities to be proud of their local academy, and we are determined that any pupil in those communities can seize all the opportunities this world has to offer. So we are creating a charitable foundation that will work with and in the communities we serve to tackle wider barriers to learning and thriving."

The Trust will shortly be launching the recruitment process for prospective Trustees.
