Parents and Carers
‘The regular communication between the ACE tutor and ourselves has been brilliant. We always feel informed and included in our child’s progress.’
TKAT ACE works best when schools and families work closely together in partnership. As a parent or carer, you play a vital role in helping your child gain the full benefit from their ACE provision at school.
We encourage you to maintain regular communication with your child’s ACE tutor, as this helps build a strong and consistent support network around your child. Taking time to talk with your child about their ACE sessions can also help reinforce their learning, boost confidence, and encourage reflection on their progress.
When home and school work together, it has a powerful impact on a child’s sense of belonging, wellbeing, attendance, and overall achievement. This joined-up approach helps ensure that every child feels supported, understood, and valued.
Your child’s ACE tutor is also their advocate within school. They are there to listen, support, and help remove barriers so that your child can reach their full potential. By working in partnership, we can ensure the best possible outcomes for every learner.
‘ACE has made such a difference to my child. Having a consistent adult in school who really understands them has helped them feel safe, supported, and ready to learn.’
